SOCU S.R.L. was born as a company destined to satisfy needs in the field of transport and handling of containers and packaged products in the food and beverage fractionation industry; but the experience acquired added to the study of the different markets and the particular needs of the companies allowed us to undertake the exploration of fields such as the automation and optimization of machinery in the wood and plastics industry.

SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY

The safety and health of our employees, suppliers, clients and the public, as well as the preservation of the environment, are a priority for SOCU S.R.L. for the good performance in the provision of its services.

 

The success of the company in this area will depend on teamwork and the integration of the individual efforts of all employees and our suppliers.

 

Therefore, we undertake to act by applying the following principles and business policies internally as well as with our subcontractors - suppliers, demanding our same principles for contracting. In case of non-compliance, the company may terminate labor and / or commercial relations.

 

PRINCIPLES TO FOLLOW:

  • Identify hazards and their environmental aspects, minimizing adverse environmental impacts and risks associated with the safety and health of people, through integrated management programs.

  • Rationally use resources and minimize the generation of waste in our activities to contribute to sustainable development.

  • Provide the necessary training to employees, at all levels, so that they carry out their activities safely and without impacting the environment.

  • Identify, analyze and comply with the environmental, safety and health regulations, applicable to our activities in the Argentine Republic, aimed at achieving international standards.

  • Promote internal and external communication regarding the prevention of environmental impacts, accidents and diseases, creating fast and effective networks that favor the quality of our services.

  • Continuously improve the performance of our company through the systematic application of environmental, safety and health management.

 

The ability that we all have to assimilate these principles will translate into progress for our supplier company and our customers, while maintaining respect for the environment.

SUSTAINABILITY PRINCIPLES

Internal fundamental social principles and control of our subcontractors - suppliers.

1 - CHILD LABOR

  • The company does not employ children under 15 years of age.

  • If the law establishes a higher minimum age or compulsory schooling is up to a higher age, this will be the limit of application.​

  • Educational and training programs are not included in this limitation.

ETHICAL PRINCIPLES OF THE BUSINESS

Ethical Principles of the Business

Ethical, moral and legal conduct is expected from our Suppliers at all times. In particular, our Suppliers, their agents and contractors are expected to be familiar with and comply with all legal and contractual obligations related to their business activities, and conduct (including by default) that is illegal or violates such obligations will not be accepted. In addition, the offer or receipt of gifts, hospitality or expenses is prohibited to the extent that such arrangements could affect the outcome of business transactions and are unreasonable.​

 

1: We are committed to treating parties fairly and ethically as set forth in our Code of Business Ethics.

    1.1: All Third Parties must accept, adhere to and confirm this Code (or provide equivalent principles).

    1.2: Acceptance and adherence to this Code is necessary to establish a business relationship with SOCU S.R.L. (unless equivalent principles have been provided).​

 

2: Third party selection procedure and conflicts of interest

    2.1: SOCU S.R.L. reserves the right to carry out an audit on the integrity of the Third Parties that relate to us, as part of its selection process.

   2.2: Third Parties are required to declare any possible conflict of interest before the selection process begins.​

 

 3: Anti-corruption, Anti-bribery, Money Laundering, Economic Competition and International Trade Sanctions

    3.1: Third Parties must comply with all current laws and regulations regarding Economic Competition, anti-corruption and Money Laundering.

    3.2: Third Parties are prohibited from any form of bribery or corruption for the purpose of obtaining an unfair or improper benefit, whether real or perceived.

     3.3: Third Parties may not participate in activities that may be considered as an obstacle to free competition.

    3.4: Third Parties may not enter into agreements with restricted parties and must comply with all applicable International Trade laws and sanctions.

 

4.Human rights

​Third Parties are expected to protect and promote the human rights of their employees.

They must be fair employers who respect international labor standards, including the core conventions of the International Labor Organization and applicable laws on slavery and human trafficking.

Audit:  

SOCU S.R.L. reserves the right to confirm the adherence of its Business Partner to the principles established in this Code of Conduct through on-site or documentary audits. If on-site audits are required, the Business Partner will be notified appropriately and the audit will not unnecessarily disrupt its operations.
